Footage from the launch of the winter harvest season for wheat produced by private sector companies investing in grains in Al-Jawf Governorate, Yemen, for the year 2024-2025 under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources this week, revealed that the season was characterized by significantly increasing productivity, while the quality of agricultural inputs played a role in distinguishing quality as the seeds were more pure and higher yielding.

The Yemeni government has pledged to provide additional investment incentives and facilities to pharmaceutical importers willing to localize drug manufacturing in the country. It also commended the existing and under-construction national pharmaceutical factories. This announcement was made during a Ramadan evening event organized by the Union of Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies Importers in collaboration with the General Investment Authority and the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Pharmacy, attended by high-ranking government officials.
