On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Deputy Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Shotri, paid an inspection visit to the General Investment Authority (GIA) to review the workflow and assess staff attendance and discipline following the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

During the visit, Al-Shotri extended Eid greetings to the leadership and staff of the Authority and was briefed by GIA Chairman Yasser Abdulkarim Al-Mansour on the Authority’s recent performance and ongoing efforts to enhance the investment climate under the newly issued Investment Law.

The Deputy Minister commended the Authority’s progress in streamlining procedures for investors, stressing the importance of accelerating the completion and launch of the One-Stop Investment Window—a key initiative under the Government of Change and Reconstruction aimed at improving the ease of doing business.

Al-Shotri emphasized the need for all GIA employees to embrace their national responsibilities, particularly at this critical stage of legislative and administrative reform intended to rebuild investor confidence.

“We must double our efforts and work with a spirit of teamwork,” the Deputy Minister stated, “to improve service quality and strengthen investor satisfaction.”
