As the Exhibition Concludes Successfully: Coffee Business Clinic – A Remarkable Addition to the Sana’a International Coffee Exhibition 2025

Sana’a International Coffee Exhibition concluded today, Thursday, February 20, 2025, after a successful five-day run at Al-Sabeen Park. The event featured the participation of the General Investment Authority, represented by the Projects and Promotion Sectors, alongside a broad presence of investors, coffee industry pioneers, farmers, and traders. 

A Key Platform for Yemeni Coffee Promotion 

The exhibition served as a crucial platform for marketing Yemeni coffee, offering participants direct opportunities to sell their products and enhance the global reputation of Yemeni coffee in both local and international markets. It also provided an avenue to show case investment opportunities in the agricultural sector, highlighting the unique advantages Yemen possesses in coffee cultivation. 

 

Coffee Clinic: A Significant Innovation in the Exhibition 

 

This year’s exhibition was distinguished by the introduction of the Coffee Clinic, an initiative supported by the General Investment Authority. The clinic offered agricultural consultancy services and expert guidance to farmers and industry enthusiasts. A team of specialists, including Engineer Samir Al-Atmi, Engineer Mohammed Rashid, Dr. Amin Al-Azab, Dr. Kamal Al-Qudsi, Engineer Khaled Al-Banna, and Engineer Ahmed Al-Dhubibi, led the initiative. 

 

The experts provided specialized advice on coffee tree pest control, modern irrigation techniques, and improving crop quality, while also addressing farmers' inquiries in a scientific and professional manner. Engineer Khaled Al-Banna noted that most farmer concerns revolved around Pest infestations affecting coffee crops, methods of pest control, and strategies for optimizing water usage in irrigation. 

Remarkable Success and Widespread Engagement 

The exhibition witnessed a significant turnout of visitors, including families and coffee enthusiasts, establishing itself as a prominent tourism and commercial destination in Sana’a. With over250 participating entities and businesses, the event reflected a strong community engagement in efforts to restore Yemeni coffee to its rightful position among top exports, thereby contributing to the growth of the national economy.

With this remarkable success, the Sana'a International Coffee Exhibition 2025 has reaffirmed its status as an annual event that strengthens Yemen’s position in the global coffee industry.
