Yemen participated in the third edition of the Kuwait International Food and Agriculture Exhibition, held at the Kuwait International Fairgrounds in Mishref, Kuwait City, from December 15–16.

The Yemeni pavilion showcased high-quality agricultural products from Yemen's private sector, including grains, coffee, fish, fruits, and honey. The display was organized by Yemen Fresh, a company owned by businessman Ismail Al-Jahmi.

Mohsen Atef, Director of the Agricultural Exports Department at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, stated that the Yemeni pavilion received visits and commendations from the Kuwaiti Minister of Agriculture and various consulates and international delegations, who expressed their admiration for Yemeni products.

Ismail Al-Jahmi highlighted the diversity of Yemeni exhibits, noting the participation of experts specializing in the trade and production of honey and coffee, as well as their respective value chains.

The exhibition featured a wide participation of 48 companies and exhibitors, along with official representation from 30 countries.

The event was organized under the support and sponsorship of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources, in collaboration with the Kuwait International Fair Company. It aimed to promote food security, achieve self-sufficiency, foster a commercial and investment-friendly environment, and offer effective solutions to enhance agricultural and animal resources within a sustainable food system.
