The Yemeni Integrated Company for Electronic Financial Services inaugurated its "M-Pay" wallet activities on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in a ceremony attended by the Prime Minister, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, along with government officials and private sector representatives.
The wallet, which will provide various financial services to government entities, the private sector, and the general public, includes several major financial institutions, companies, and government funds.
This project is part of the government’s efforts to automate all processes and will contribute to accelerating the automation of financial collections for government fees and various bill payments while addressing inefficiencies associated with manual field collections.
The wallet is supervised and managed by the Yemeni General Corporation for Social Insurance and includes partnerships with Yemen Mobile, the Public Telecommunications Corporation, Yemen Post, and the General Insurance Authority.
