The Yemeni Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment announced on Saturday, April 12, 2025, the launch of 46 new electronic services via its online portal, following the successful completion of the pilot phase. This increases the total number of electronic services offered by the ministry to 76.
The newly introduced services cover diverse areas, notably including the amendment, transfer, and cancellation of individual commercial registrations; registration and management of trademarks, patents, and utility models; issuance and renewal of certified public accountant licenses; management of industrial designs; registration and modification of branches of foreign companies; as well as registration for entrepreneurs.
Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Eng. Moeen Hashem Al-Muhaqri, emphasized that the launch of these new services aligns with the ministry's commitment to implementing the "Government of Change and Development" program aimed at simplifying and accelerating procedures for investors, the private sector, and citizens.
Minister Al-Muhaqri called on the private sector and all beneficiaries to utilize the electronic portal, stressing the ministry's eagerness to receive feedback to continuously improve and develop services, meeting the needs of the private sector and enhancing the business environment in the country.
The Minister praised the ministry's technical team for swiftly implementing the new services and highlighted the importance of continuously updating and developing electronic services to adapt to current changes, achieve ministry objectives in supporting investors and local industry, and establish a secure and stable investment environment.
