The Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Eng. Moein Hashim Al-Mahagri, has inaugurated the rehabilitation of the antibiotic production line at the Yemeni Pharmaceutical Company "Yedco." This new line will produce nine different types of antibiotics.
During the launch event, which took place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the company's factory premises, Minister Al-Mahagri emphasized the importance of activating the children's antibiotic syrup production line by next week, completing the inauguration of the nutrient manufacturing plant within a month, and intensifying efforts to expand production and increase the company’s market share in the local market.
The minister stressed the full support of the ministry to help the company overcome challenges and implement its development plans. He highlighted the central role of Yedco in localizing pharmaceutical production and achieving pharmaceutical security as part of the government’s transformation program to support the national economy.
