Al-Bukhaiti: The Local Authority Has Allocated a Suitable Area for Establishing an Industrial Zone

The Chairman of the Investment Authority, Mr. Yasser Abdul Karim Al-Mansour, praised the promising investment opportunities available in Dhamar Governorate across various sectors, as well as the advantages that contribute to the success of investment efforts.
During his meeting on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, with Dhamar Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, Al-Mansour reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to providing a range of facilitations for investors, in line with the incentives outlined in the Investment Law. These measures aim to support and attract national capital, which he described as a true partner in the country's development.
He emphasized that the Authority has worked to streamline procedures for investors through the one-stop-shop system, ensuring an organized investment environment that fosters promising competitive opportunities.
Al-Mansour further explained that the new Investment Law is primarily focused on encouraging local capital from both the public and private sectors to seize emerging investment opportunities, localize industries, and motivate importers to shift towards domestic manufacturing by leveraging the incentives, advantages, and facilitations provided by the law.
The meeting also covered investment facilitations in the governorate and the local authority’s vision for promoting development. Governor Al-Bukhaiti stressed the importance of coordinated efforts to encourage investment and capitalize on Dhamar’s promising economic potential.
Al-Bukhaiti highlighted that the local authority has taken several measures to facilitate investment projects, ensuring clear regulations that eliminate previous bureaucratic obstacles faced by investors. He also noted that the local government has allocated a suitable area for the establishment of an industrial zone, which will further support investment growth in the governorate.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor Ali Atif, Director of the Dhamar Investment Authority Branch Mohammed Rawiyah, and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dhamar Mohammed Dadieh.
