A Historic Day for Investment in Yemen
Issuance of Law No. (3) of 1446 AH on Investment

Today marked the issuance of Law No. (3) of 1446 AH on Investment.

The law comprises 101 articles organized into six chapters and fifteen sections, as follows:

1. Chapter One: Title, Definitions, Objectives, and Scope of Application.
2. Chapter Two: Guarantees, Incentives, and Benefits.
3. Chapter Three: One-Stop-Shop System, Registration Procedures, and Investor Obligations.
4. Chapter Four: Promotion and Protection of Local Production and Export Development.
5. Chapter Five: General Investment Authority.
6. Chapter Six: Investment Dispute Resolution and Final Provisions.

The final article of the law states that it shall take effect from the date of its issuance and publication in the official gazette.
