The Experience

Where did you derive the support to embark on your journey?

Primarily from my strong will; it is the secret behind all my successes. This will was born out of suffering, shocks, and the pains of the people. Several factors shaped it, such as my love for my children, husband, and large family. This love increased my determination to help them, especially amid war conditions and salary disruptions. Additionally, my profound love for my country and my fierce desire to see it become a productive nation achieving self-sufficiency in its essential needs played a significant role.

Fields of Activity

What are the areas in which your business activities are concentrated, and how significant are they economically?

In my business activities, I always strive to motivate and spread a positive spirit among traders in shops, stalls, and online platforms. I implement marketing campaigns that outline a path of hope for traders, lifting them out of frustration and feelings of failure. I aim to encourage them to improve their marketing methods, engage in e-commerce, and advocate for investment in national products.

Productive Families

Through your experience with productive families, how do you view their reality and economic importance in our country?

In reality, I always advocate for a productive Yemeni space starting from the neighborhood. Every neighborhood member should be able to buy and sell within a unified entity, whether women, men, or children. Everyone can sell their products, serving as a model for the circulation of national products, making the family self-sufficient. I have sought to elevate my voice to the highest levels of the state to adopt this approach. I propose to oversee these productive structures myself and like-minded individuals, which will generate financial revenues for the state and provide job opportunities starting from producers, their products, their workers, executive managers, coordinators, and specialized laborers. This will delight everyone by providing sustainable livelihoods.

Challenges

What are the main difficulties facing businesswomen currently?

The lack of financial funding is the biggest obstacle facing businesswomen. Even when funding is available, it often comes with challenges such as commercial guarantees. Here, I emphasize that with genuine financial support, a businesswoman can execute her project more effectively.

Future and Diverse Opportunities

How do you see the future of businesswomen in Yemen?

I believe that the future of businesswomen in Yemen will be distinguished and remarkable, especially if they unite and support one another, coupled with strict management that deters anyone who harms them or exploits their energies.

What are the most important investment opportunities for businesswomen in Yemen?

Investment opportunities in Yemen are vast and varied. For example, there are excellent opportunities in the clothing, textiles, leather goods, perfumes, as well as food and confectionery industries, provided they have a distinctive touch. Other profitable projects include recycling, agricultural reforestation, and other fields that can rejuvenate the psychological energies of the Yemeni people.
