The Yemeni Standards, Metrology, and Quality Control Authority plans to launch its digital platform soon.

Investment Magazine has learned that His Excellency the Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Engineer Moeen Hashem Al-Muhaqari, received a promise from the Authority’s Executive Director, Sam Ahmed Al-Bashiri, during his review on Tuesday, November 19, of the ongoing digital automation efforts of the Authority's services, stating that the launch is expected in the coming weeks.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Muhaqari emphasized the Authority’s crucial role in the phase of transformation and reconstruction, highlighting its contribution to protecting national products and enhancing consumer protection mechanisms within a transparent and legal framework.

The Minister expressed his satisfaction with the achievements of the Authority and directed its leadership to develop a timeline-based executive program to address its developmental needs, ensuring the execution of its tasks and activities aimed at protecting consumers and supporting the national economy.

He also urged the Authority’s leadership and staff to work as a unified team, collaborate to address challenges, and focus on achieving tangible results that strengthen the partnership between the government and the private sector while fostering an atmosphere of mutual trust
