During his dialogue with traders and manufacturers at the event, His Excellency Minister Al-Mahaqari emphasized that the objective of the "Tasehil" e-portal of the Standards Organization is to assist traders and simplify all procedures for them, considering them partners in development and beneficiaries of the portal's services to expedite their activities related to standards. He also announced that next week, the electronic linkage between the Standards Organization's portal and the Customs portal will be implemented, which will mark a significant leap in the services offered to traders, accelerating inspection, evaluation, and clearance processes for shipments in record time with significantly reduced effort and cost.

He stated: "Our primary goal is to automate all operations so that inspections, analyses, results, and clearances are fully electronic, conducted transparently and easily through the application, in line with the established procedures and standards in our country."

He reaffirmed the joint efforts to protect consumers and national capital from fraud, counterfeiting, or forgery while enhancing the quality of local products, supporting the localization of local industries, and improving service quality to boost competitiveness both locally and internationally.
